Review
Review is the dashboard tab where you check what Pepper isn't sure about. When it finds something in the chats you connect that might be a task, a fact about someone, or a decision, it proposes it here as a card. Nothing on a card counts until you say so, with one exception: when you ask Pepper about decisions, it can mention a proposed one, marked as proposed.
Pepper tracks an item on its own only when the words leave little doubt and the item is clearly yours or clearly for you. Follow-ups lists those cases.
Everything else waits as a proposal: requests in group chats, items it is less sure of, and facts and decisions taken from someone else's words. A fact in your own words is kept outright once a second check confirms the message says it; a fact from someone else's words reaches Review only after that same check. A group message that replied to or mentioned only other people is not proposed at all.
The Review tab in the dashboard shows a count of waiting proposals. The Today tab and your briefs can mention them too, though not every time.
Open Review. You see one card at a time, with a counter such as "2 of 7" above it. Each card has:
- What kind it is. "Possible task", "Possible fact" or "Possible decision".
- Who owes, or who said it. For a task, "you may owe" or "may be owed to you". For a fact or decision, "you said" or "they said".
- Pepper's reading, in one line, such as "Send Lena the signed lease".
- Who and where. The sender, the chat app the message came from, and the day it was sent.
- Source says. The words from the message, checked against it ignoring capitals and spacing. If no quote was stored, the card says so.
When there is more than one card, a line below shows what's next, with a Skip link to move on without deciding.
Every card has two big buttons. Which pair you see depends on the kind.
| Card | Keep it | Drop it |
|---|---|---|
| Possible task | Track it | Not a task |
| Possible fact or decision | Keep | Wrong |
Track it turns the proposal into an open task in Follow-ups. It goes on the Schedule if it has a date, and can show on Today and in your briefs, which only have room for a few.
Keep lets Pepper use a fact when you ask about the person it concerns. On a decision, Keep confirms it.
After you press either button on a card, Review shows the first remaining card and a short message confirms what happened.
Not a task does more than hide the card. Pepper marks the item wrong and remembers the messages it came from. It will not propose a task from that same set of messages, owed the same way, again, even when it reads the chat a second time. The confirmation says "Dropped and won't be raised again". A different message, or the same one with others, can still lead to a new proposal.
Pressing Wrong on a fact or decision rejects it. Pepper won't use it when you ask about that person.
Dropped items are kept in Pepper's database as a record of your corrections. They don't appear on any tab.
Use Not a task for Pepper's mistakes, not for real tasks you've finished. Mark a real task you've finished as Done in Follow-ups, and Pepper counts it on Today.
Every choice takes effect at once. Pepper never asks "are you sure?" first.
Press Undo in the message that appears after you choose; on Review that message stays for about seven seconds, so press it then. Undo puts the item back exactly as it was. For Not a task, Undo also deletes the correction Pepper recorded and lets it propose a task from the chat message again, so the card can come back.
You can't undo a choice in two cases, and Pepper says why:
| Undo says | Why |
|---|---|
| Too late to undo that. | More than 10 minutes have passed. |
| It changed since; nothing undone. | Something else changed the item after your choice, such as a reply you sent Pepper on Telegram. |
You can undo each choice once.
You don't have to clear Review in one sitting. Proposals wait until you decide, with two exceptions: a proposed fact expires after 180 days, and a proposed task closes on its own when a later message settles it. After the last card, Skip goes back to the first. The tab shows the most recent 20 proposed tasks, 20 facts and 20 decisions at a time; older ones show up as you work through the newer ones.
